The American Laboratories Company, IEH delegation discussed environmental and food safety aspects during its recent visit to Riyadh Techno-Valley. The delegation was represented by Dr. Mohammad Koohmaraie, Chief Executive Officer, Meat Division accompanied by Dr. Hassan Bin Abdulla Al-gahtani, Dean of the faculty of food and Agriculture at KSU. The delegation was received by Dr. Rashid Al-Zahrani, Assistant Supervisor-General for Management Affairs, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-dossari.Assistan Supervisor-General for Technical Affairs, Khalid Al-sajan, Investment and Marketing Advisor and Dr. Sarmad Hanif, Research Division Advisor.
The delegation discussed the idea of setting up laboratories in the Kingdom for food testing to ensure its safety and also setting up commercial laboratories at the Riyadh Techno-Valley to serve food, drug and other sectors.
A meeting was held during the visit between the visiting delegation and RTV staff Environmental aspects and food safety were discussed .
