RTV Signs MoU With Gulf Research Centre

RTV recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai-based Gulf Research Centre aimed at exchanging information and expertise, as well as mutual support and cooperation in a host of joint activities including conferences, symposiums and workshops. RTV Assistant Supervisor-General for Management and Investment, Dr. Rashid Bin Messfir Al-Zahrani, outlined specific objectives which include enhancement of capacities; training of manpower; provision of offices for both parties; cooperation to facilitate enhanced knowledge and consciousness; mutual benefit from resources and scientific and research materials; and translation, dissemination and distribution of printed materials through all available means. The MoU also includes detailed agreements on the joint activities of each project in which the nature, term, staff, finance and other elements will be defined. According to RTV Public Relations and Information Officer, Mr. Hussam Al-Mushawkhi, the Valley has an ambitious plan for forging a number of local, regional and international agreements with relevant centers, adding that these agreements are in their final stages.
