RTIC is the technology incubator that King Saud University (KSU) has established. It is a high-tech incubator on campus to encourage and support innovation and entrepreneurship in the local area and throughout the country. The university is Saudi Arabia’s largest and most prestigious university, with approximately 50,000 undergraduates and 4,000 graduate students. The university has a full range of colleges and educational resources necessary to support an incubator to include science, engineering, medical, and business areas.
By offering the resources of the university as a key component and strong government and private sector partnership, this technology incubator will be world-class and the best in Middle East. It will become a major force in economic development in the region creating high paying jobs, encouraging innovation and a catalyst for research and development at KSU and the region.

This incubator will provide affordable and flexible space, access to business services, and an astounding business network of advisors, mentors, and professional contacts.
The incubator has temporarily been allocated a space of nearly 300 square meters at AB49, Building No.3, College of Engineering, KSU. The facility will carry out the services during the early phase until it will be moved to the first tower of Riyadh Techno Valley (RTV), a science park that is being constructed by KSU to achieve ultimate goal of knowledge economy.
Because of its prime location on the premises of KSU campus as part of RTV, and situated in the heart of existing and emerging knowledge-based institutions, RTIC will be the hub of high technology and attract talented people to work and create new businesses, hence, creating valuable jobs and ever increasing wealth.
Riyadh Technology Incubation Center (RTIC) is another project established to achieve the vision of making the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia a knowledge-based economy. It would be another milestone in the overall achievement of the economic development plan, with firm focus on technological development, research, and innovation. It would play a vital role in the commercialization of university research and development in various technologies. It will help in increasing employment and economic growth and serving as an investment vehicle.
